DIRECTOR of MUSIC MINISTRIES
Tim came to Pines in May of 2014. As a child, Tim played the piano “by ear” and later studied piano from the first grade all the way through college. As the years progressed he added the organ, accordion, and trombone to his repertoire of instruments. Tim attended North Texas State University and Texas Tech University with a major in Music Education. He has been choir director/organist for several churches in Texas and Louisiana. Tim brings to Pines a wide variety of musical genres for the congregation to enjoy. DIRECTOR of YOUTH MINISTRY
Jesse came to Pines in July of 2018 through the Center for Youth Ministry Training. He grew up in the Presbyterian Church where he realized his call to youth ministry in high school. Jesse went on to attend Eastern University where he graduated with a degree in Youth Ministry in 2017, and is currently a student at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary where he is studying for a Master’s Degree in Youth Ministry. Jesse’s goal for the Pines youth ministry is to teach students that they are not simply the Church of tomorrow, but part of the Church of the present. He hopes to equip each student to navigate the difficulties of middle and high school with God on their side through relevant teaching, Biblical study, positive role models, and a whole lot of fun!
Connie first joined the Pines family in 2009 as a preschool parent. Having experienced other schools in other cities, she immediately realized that Pines Preschool’s focus on developing the whole child was something truly unique in today’s fast-paced, schedule-driven world. Connie jumped at the chance to join the staff and spent 7-years as a teacher, before being named Director in 2017. A commercial banker in her previous life, she holds a BA degree from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri. Connie first honed her teaching skills at home where she and her husband, Troy, are the parents of three loud, opinionated, wonderful children. As a Christian, Connie believes she has the privilege and the responsibility to share God’s unconditional love to the children and parents of the preschool. As Jesus says in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them.”
Micah joined the staff in 2018 and manages Pines Presbyterian’s in-house design department. She creates the full range of communication materials and enjoys the constant challenge of striving to accurately capture the church’s mission. Her goal is bringing out the vibrant personality and warmth of the church that makes Pines a unique community. Micah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. While her background originates from advertising in the corporate environment, she has developed a passion and career emphasis on community driven design in the non profit sector. Micah’s interests include community volunteering, taking off-the-beaten-path road trips, the outdoors and stand up paddling.

Alexis joined the office staff at Pines in November of 2014. She is a graduate of The University of Tulsa, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a MBA. Her background has lead her through many fields, industries and locations throughout the United States. Her primary responsibilities are to handle the accounting functions for the church, including accounts payable and receivables. She works under the guidance of the Church Treasurer and the Stewardship Committee. In addition, she provides support to the Committee Moderators in overseeing their committee budgets and disbursements.
Genny gets to represent Pines in a unique way. She is usually the first person to meet and greet members and visitors as they come through the front door as well as answer and direct the many phone calls and inquiries throughout each day. The reception desk can be a challenging and exciting place to work and Genny welcomes each days’ activities with a smile and the question "How may I help you today?”
